Are you looking for a printer to print your labels?
Here are our recommendations according to the context of use within your establishment.
Office or indoor usage
Example : Zebra ZD 410D
If your needs are limited to furniture, computers or equipment that will be stored inside, the following printer will be sufficient for your needs:

Outdoor usage with limited manipulation
Zebra ZD421t
If your labels face bad weather, such as being outside where it can get wet or in direct contact with the sun, this can reduce the life of your labels. This is where a printer with a thermal transfer application can help, as the resin layer will offer protection to the label that is not available on a direct thermal label.

Outdoor usage with frequent manipulation
For tools, this type of equipment is often in contact with the weather, but also a source of friction with people who use them on a daily basis. This means that your labels will undergo more intensive use and may break easily, even with a resin application.
For this type of use, we recommend etching the tools, which will engrave the asset tag directly on the tool, making it practically impossible to remove.

You can also attach a plastic pouch that contains the label to protect it during use. Here are some examples of plastic sleeves that you can purchase to attach to your tools or the bags that contain them. If you choose this solution, the labels printed by the two printers suggested above will be protected and you will not need specialized equipment for this type of use.
