We are excited to introduce a new way to customize your forms in Hector! This feature offers you more flexibility and freedom than ever before, allowing you to create forms tailored to the specific needs of your team.
📑 Supported entities
Currently, it is possible to create forms for the following entities:
- Requisition Orders
- Invoices
- Payments
✨ More entities will be added in future updates !
⚙️ Configuration
Forms can be created and customized from Settings › Templates › Form.
● Default forms
By default, Hector offers three form templates:
- For requisition orders
- For invoices
- For payments

You can modify and customize these templates at any time to adapt them to your needs.
● Custom forms
It is also possible to create your own forms. Here’s how it works :
Header

1. Name : The name of your custom form.
2. Description : The description of your custom form.
3. Entity : Allows you to associate your form with an entity (requisition order, invoice, payment). A form associated with the Invoice entity will therefore not be available when creating a requisition order or a payment.
4. Printout Template : Allows you to associate your form with a specific printout.
5. Set as Default Template For : If this option is checked, the form will be automatically selected and displayed when creating a record for an entity. This is useful when you have multiple forms associated with the same entity and you want to prioritize the display of one of them.
6. Activate this template : If this option is checked, the form can be used when creating a record for an entity. If this option is not checked, the form will be created but it cannot be used until it is reactivated.
Table

1. Name : This is the field name. The default field name is displayed, but it can be customized if needed.
2. Description : You can add a description for the field. This will display an information tooltip next to the field in the form to provide users with more details.
3. Default Value : Allows you to enter a default value for the field. This value will be automatically displayed in the field when the form is used.
4. Display Type : Allows you to define whether the field value can be modified.
5. Field Size : Allows you to define the space (width) occupied by the field in the form. You can configure up to 5 columns of width per field.
6. Show : If this option is checked, the field will be displayed in the form. If this option is unchecked, the field will not be displayed in the form.
7. Required : If this option is checked, the field must be completed to save the form. If this option is unchecked, the form can be saved even if the field is not completed.
8. Line Break : If this option is checked for a field, subsequent fields will be displayed on the next line of the form.
9. Add New Section : Allows you to create a section and group your fields to better structure your form.
Once your setup is complete, click Save and your new form will be ready to use! If you have any questions or would like personalized support, please feel free to contact our sales team at sales@hectorassetmanager.com or your account manager.
