Web Application
1. Global
- In the various tables, Hector now offers a search option for list-type fields to help you find a value or values more quickly.
- In the software’s tables, it is now possible to filter Number columns in ascending or descending order.
2. Settings
Assets
- The Acquisition date and Assignment date fields can now be configured to be empty by default when one or more assets are created.
Loaners
Hector’s favorite feature !
- The wait is over, you can now customize loan statuses and adapt them to your processes !
- The loan table can now be customized by role.
- New option allowing you to add an asset managed in lot size directly to your loan cart without any manual entry.
Operations
- Transfer orders statuses can now be customized.
Templates

Roles and permissions
Loans (creation)
- Option to show or hide the Staff field on the form.
- Option to show or hide the Status field on the form.
Users
- Option to choose which role(s) a user can block or unblock from loans.
Labels
- We’ve added an extra level of customization to your label configuration. You now have complete control over the positioning of elements on your label !
3. Inventory
Stockrooms
- In addition to being able to define reservation permissions per shelf, you can now configure management permissions per shelf.
Subcategories
- New field added : Made In

Assets
Hector’s favorite feature !
- Hector is proud to present a completely redesigned page conceived to simplify the simultaneous creation of multiple assets. If you would like to find out more about this feature, please consult our guide.
- A new asset field named Last Validated Date is now available. It is automatically populated with the date of the asset’s latest count or validation.
- Possibility of adding a return date when moving one or more assets to a stockroom.
Inventory Validation
- Visual redesign of inventory validation to enhance your experience.
- New option to include or remove assets from an inventory validation before it is sent.
- New option enabling a user to report assets as found or missing when performing inventory validation.
- A tab for Inventory Validations has been added to each user’s card to facilitate tracking and the consultation of a history.
Associations management
- New display allowing you to see all your associations at a glance and perform quick actions such as changing the association level, changing the parent and changing the child.
4. Counts
- Visual redesign of the count page to improve your experience.
- Improved speed when scanning an asset.
- Possibility to scan assets without interruption with the new Quick Scan option.
- Possibility to add assets to a count even if it is 100% complete.
- Possibility to take action on assets identified as missing at the adjustment stage of a count.

Requisition Orders
- Possibility to customize the message when the ownership is changed on a requisition order.
Purchase Orders
- New button allowing you to change the ownership during the purchase order process.
- Possibility to customize the message when the ownership is changed on a purchase order.
Transfer Orders
- Possibility to customize the message when the ownership is changed on a transfer order.
Work Orders
- New button allowing you to change the ownership during the purchase order process.
- Possibility to customize the message when a work order is assigned or when the ownership is changed.
6. Loans and reservations
Configurations
Hector’s favorite feature !
- Hector now offers you complete customization of the filter section of your public reservation catalogs !
- Possibility to display the value on the loan printout.
- Possibility to display only assets in Out status on a loan printout.
- New configuration allowing you to hide the recurrence option for private and public loan pages.
- New configuration allowing you to hide the public loan option.
- New configuration allowing you to hide the Apply the selected requester’s permissions from the private loan page.
Loans management
- New button allowing you to lock a loan.
- Introduction of a new validation process when a user wishes to change the dates of a loan that already has one or more assets in its cart. This new feature makes it possible to determine whether the date change will be applied to new assets added to the cart, or to new assets added to the cart and those already in the cart.
- Possibility to sort the list of loan items.
- New popup when a parent asset (association) is returned on loan, enabling selection of child assets that are also returned.
Kit management in loans
- Kit components can now be added to a loan and managed individually. They can be loaned, returned, exchanged and removed independently of their kit.
- A new table has been added to manage incomplete kits. This grid gives you a quick overview of kits loaned without all their components, and of kit components loaned on their own.
Penalties management
- New button allowing you to put a penalty on standby.
7. Integrations
Microsoft Intune
- New option allowing automatic resetting of Entra password from a loan.
Mobile Application
1. Global
- Hector’s mobile application is now integrated with the Zebra TC22/27 Android device. It’s the ideal solution for optimizing your inventory entries and scans !
